What does lymphatic drainage massage do?

    Lymphatic drainage therapy:

    • Improves the immune system

    • Aids in detoxification and anti-aging

    • Promotes deep relaxation

    • Enhances digestion

    • Can improve energy and sleep.

It’s also used pre- and post-op, optimizing the skin condition and circulation, accelerating healing and reducing bruising and pain!

Clients have said that post-operative lymphatic drainage has helped to smooth and speed up the recovery process.

Other clients report feeling less bloated and lighter, and have a more “glowing” complexion.

We offer treatment for the following conditions, and more:

    -Pre and post-operative surgeries:

    • Mommy makeover

    • BBL

    • Liposuction

    • Tummy tuck (abdominoplasty)

    • Body lift

    • Breast lift and augmentation

    • Facial surgeries (blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, facelift, neck lift)

-Mild swelling in the body and face from fluid build-up and poor circulation

-Injury recovery: muscle sprains, muscle strains, edema from a trauma

    -Acne (due to inflammation)

We can support your immune health and recovery process with lymphatic drainage massage in our Beltline Calgary studio!

Please chat with us if you have diagnosed lymphedema (at this time we are unable to treat this condition and we will refer out), or are pre- or post-op from a surgery (we require further details of the procedure to provide optimal care).

  • Hadado®, the “non-surgical facelift”, is an exclusive treatment that combines lymphatic drainage, fascial stretching, acupressure, and massage lifting techniques, targeting the scalp, face, neck, décolleté, and shoulders.

It is a master level of massage in Japan, and means “way to beautiful skin”.

Buccal massage, also called intra-oral massage, stimulates the muscles and ligaments in the buccal fat pad (between the cheeks and the jowls), tightening and contouring.

    The Results?

    • Stimulates cellular regeneration, collagen and elastin production

    • Reduces the signs of skin aging

    • Brighter skin + reduced puffiness, wrinkles and lines

    • Enhanced facial contours + toned décolleté, face, and neck

How often should I book for optimal results?

You should feel and see results after the first session, and the differences will be more noticeable after the third to fourth consecutive treatment, as the results are cumulative.

For best results, we recommend a series of 6-8 sessions, once a week, then maintenance treatment every month. We provide wellness packages for your convenience.

If you have had Botox, please wait 2 weeks before booking this treatment. Fillers: wait at least 1 month, and we will not treat directly over the filler for 6 months, as we can move the filler around.

Please ensure you arrive with a clean face, no jewelry, and your hair loosely tied.

  • Our goal: To work with you in your current mobility state, and gradually improve your ease of movement within your body.

Often likened to Thai massage (they are different treatments), FST™ helps to decrease pain, increase flexibility and range of motion, mobility, posture, balance, coordination, power, and strength

All fitness levels benefit from this treatment!

  • Our goal: to speed up healing by encouraging increased blood flow to the treated areas.

    How does cupping work?

We use silicone cups that are applied to the tissue; this creates a “lift” in the tissue, which encourages increased blood flow to the area. Increased blood flow = more oxygen and nutrients are brought to the tissue, while metabolic waste is removed.

We utilize a more dynamic cupping therapy approach, moving the cups around and following the 12 fascial lines in the body. Movement helps break down fascial adhesions between the connective tissue and muscles.

There is a chance of bruising, depending on your tissue and how easily you bruise.

Clients have reported feeling lighter, having more movement, and feeling less pain after their cupping therapy.

We often use this modality during our massage sessions!

Our Process

  1. Let’s discuss your needs

Together, we chat about your treatment expectations, and we address any concerns and questions you may have. We want to meet you where you are at!

2. Your first treatment

We assess while we are treating on the table, and see how your body feels after the first treatment. This helps us move on to step 3.

3. Let’s create a treatment plan

Every person is different and requires a unique way of approaching treatment. We create a plan and treatment schedule to help you reach your goals.

4. Maintenance + treatment plan adjustments

As we are reaching your goals in treatment, we adjust our schedule and eventually move to the maintenance phase.

Your body thrives on consistent care; if we complete a treatment and then we don’t see you for 3 months, we are often starting back at phase 1.

Getting into a treatment routine for maintenance is an important part of injury prevention!

  • "Krista is amazing, and so is the clinic. She helped me tremendously with my back injury, knowing where she could apply pressure and where to be gentler without me even having to say anything. Gave me back my mobility. I've been seeing her for 5 years for different massage treatments, and she's the only one I trust to help me with my stiffness and other muscular ailments."

  • “I found Krista after having abdominal surgery for post-op lymphatic drainage massage. She showed extreme care while I was healing from fitting me in fairly last minute for a first home visit, to cancelling last minute when I had a minor infection. I was super comfortable in her care as I was healing and believe the lymphatic drainage helped me on my fairly smooth recovery. I would highly recommend Krista!”

  • "Wonderful massage with Krista today. She checked in to make sure all was going well, and I definitely felt more relaxed afterwards. Thank you!"
